Bureau of Industry and Security
Formerly known as the Bureau of Export Administration, the BIS is the Commerce Department agency tasked with administering commercial export controls.  Reasonably well-laid out set of export control resources, including a large encryption section and direct access to regulatory guidance.  (As a sidenote, BIS also is the new parent agency of the Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office).

CalLaw
CalLaw is the online version of The Recorder, the daily legal journal of the San Francisco Bay Area.

FindLaw
General legal portal.  A useful source of recent published opinions.

Greedy Associates - Silicon Valley/San Francisco
A web board where associates at the San Francisco Bay Area's largest law firms complain about being overworked/underpaid, engage in rumor-mongering, etc.  During the dotcom era, a popular venue for trading salary information; today, more likely to provide indications-and-warning of impending layoffs.  Signal-to-noise ratio varies, but generally a useful source of FIRMINT.

Martindale-Hubbell
Database of lawyers and law firms.  Useful for all sorts of purposes.

State Bar of California
The largest state bar in the country, with over 120,000 member attorneys licensed to practice in California.

The Yale Journal of International Law
For over twenty-five years, YJIL staffers have been valiantly Bluebooking the most bizarre legal sources imaginable.

The Yale Law Journal
Bringing thoughtful scholarship to the world legal community for more than a century.  When I was there, the Journal offices were also a favorite venue for online Quake II deathmatches.
